At Nuffield Dental
It’s Invisalign Consult Week at Nuffield Dental!
During your initial treatment consultation, you will be advised if any pre-treatment preparations are required. This could include extraction of teeth, to create space for teeth movement.
Once all preparations have been made, your Invisalign treatment can begin. Depending on tooth movements required, tiny tooth-coloured nodes may be attached to some teeth to assist your aligners in their movement.
After completing your Invisalign treatment, any tooth coloured nodules initially placed on your teeth will be removed, and your teeth and gums will be thoroughly cleaned.
You will likely observe a noticeable, positive change to your smile and face. To sustain the results, you will be provided retainers and instructions on their wear.

Book a no-obligation consultation with our friendly Invisalign dentists today.
Due to COVID-19 safe distancing measures, we also offer virtual consultations; please let us know your preference.
During Invisalign Week our friendly dentists will answer your questions about starting your Invisalign journey - no obligations at all! This is not a simple decision and we want you to feel as comfortable and confident as possible.
It’s important that you follow the treatment plan developed by your doctor to ensure the best outcome. Your doctor will determine the recommended treatment duration depending on several considerations, including the spacing between your teeth and the need for retention.
The aligners are made of non-toxic, medical-grade plastic and can be worn during pregnancy. If you’re concerned, please consult your healthcare professional.
While Invisalign treatment may move your teeth without the pain and anxiety of other straightening methods, some people might experience temporary, minor discomfort for a few days at the beginning of each new stage of treatment. This is normal and is typically described as a feeling of pressure. It's a sign that the Invisalign aligners are sequentially moving your teeth to their final positions. This discomfort usually goes away several days after you insert the new aligner in the series.
